bigdguitars
Unsure how to do the routes. When I make a body its usuallly with fig maple and they are set into the body... never taken one apart. how is the route on a nashville tele? it is routed for two singles then drilled? So the pickups are mounted the body and just seated with the guard? any pics or insights? I can't find a pic online... Thanks!!!!
bigdguitars
I guess this is it? so they wire in and under through the control panel? http://www.bryankimsey.com/instruments/nas...hville_pool.JPG
Mickguard
Since it's going under the pickguard, it's not really important, right? Obviously it's easier to do the swimming pool thing. Depends on your preference, I suppose having the pickups surrounded in wood could make a difference. You could always add a channel connecting the pickup routes. marksound
Don't know about the Fender ones, but the aftermarket bodies I've seen are all done like this. http://i21.ebayimg.com/04/i/000/8d/77/cbc6_1.JPG
