G_urr_A Posted October 16, 2003 Report Share Posted October 16, 2003 I've been thinking about what type of finnish I'm going to use on my first guitar, and I've come to the conclusion that a bloodred flamed veneer would look good. Now, the problem is that I don't know if I can get hold of a big enough piece. Due to the design of the guitar, it would have to be nearly 30" by 20", which is more than I've found so far (though I haven't really been looking that much). It would need to be one piece (or bookmatched, though that wouldn't really go that well with the design of the guitar). So I'm just wondering if knows anywhere I could get such a piece of wood at a reasonable price. (I'm in Sweden, so European sources are good too.)
