TFeemster
I applied the braces to the back and there is not much arch in the back at all. I have already glued it to the sides. With it not being arched very much affect the sound quit a bit? Need answers please! Thanks TF
Mattia
It will probably sound fine, but I'm wondering why there's so little arch; Did you radius the braces? Did you glue them down in a matching caul or radius dish? Did you glue them in controlled temperature and - more importantly - humidity? No big swings? Did you radius or taper the side set to match the back-brace radius (otherwise there's no way you'll keep a good amount of arch...)? Keep in mind we're talking about (generally) 15' radii, which means, what, max a quarter inch drop/rise over a 24" span; it's not a massive amount or anything, but it's certainly present and visible.
