dude Posted April 22, 2007 Report Posted April 22, 2007 Okay, I'm very new at guitar building. I've done tons of research and I pretty much have everything figured out. The only issue is that I can't seem to find any site or forum or anything that tells you how cut/shape/install a nut onto a neck. Anyone have any tips? Quote
Mattia Posted April 22, 2007 Report Posted April 22, 2007 Check Frets.com, Dan Erlewine's 'Guitar Player Repair Guide', most any book on guitar making, search the forum, search the MIMF.com library, possibly even look at StewMac's free info sheets. Seriously, it's not that hard, and there's a lot of information out there. Not all of it's free, but the two basic tomes on building and repair (Melvyn Hiscock's 'Make Your Own Electric Guitar' and Dan Erlewine's 'Guitar Player Repair Guide') have it covered. And Frank Ford (Frets.com) certainly has all sorts of handy stuff on nuts.
