Can i just wrap the end of fit around any electronics wire than wrap electrical tape around where they are connected to make the wire longer? Will that work? Samba Pa Ti Posted April 23, 2007 Report Share Posted April 23, 2007 (edited) you could do that, i prefer to resolder the wire on from inside the pickup (off the bobbin) another way if you dont want to go that far is to just solder some new wire on and use heatshrink tubing to seal it all, that way its nice and neat and tidy.
