GoodWood Posted October 7, 2007 Report Share Posted October 7, 2007 Just wondering if there is any structural effect from tucking in the lower bout X braces, as I read some luthiers dont do this and smooth the lower bout ends flush before they hit the kerf. What you don't want to do is leave it untucked and still have some height to the brace. Feather it down to nothing.
