Saxon Marsh
This is a picture of my latest project It consists of a body made from mahogany and pine!!! with the front and back routed out so that they are about 1/4inch thick with a central solid core down as far as the bridge The neck was bought 2nd hand from a friend and is bolt on All hardware parts from AXESRUS
TemjinStrife
Interesting 60's vibe in the shape combined with a 70s look to the neck and "hippie sandwich" body construction. Quirky and cool, how does it sound?
zyonsdream
I like the shape and the rustic look of the pine. However, it’s a big body and those controls are bunched together really tight.
Saxon Marsh
I've now modified the guitar by removing the stoptail bridge and replacing it with a roller bridge and fitted a bigsby lookalike tremolo
Geo
Ah, it looks even better with that Bigsby! That guitar has a very cool vibe.
zyonsdream
I don't like the inset under the bridge but the trem looks nice
Dudz
I like the look of this build. The pine and mahogany go great together! The bridge would look better if it matched the fingerboard. Righ now it is darker than the mahogany but lighter than the rosewwod whick looks somewhat odd. Great job anways though!
