Dingus420 Posted December 6, 2008 Report Posted December 6, 2008 alrite well i was at my old highschool disrupting grade 8s to use the shop, so i was kinda rushing and i accidently routed the truss rod channal too deep by 3/32" not a good start on my new neck... i figured if i left it the truss rod wouldnt work, so can i just take a strip of any wood and glue it to the bottom? or should i use something else.. guitar_player Posted December 6, 2008 Report Posted December 6, 2008 Just glue a strip in shouldn't be a problem at all. I couldn't imagine having to rout truss rods at school. I was disrupting grade 8 kids today too using the spindle and edge sander on my neck through bass. Hopefully the last time I have to do that. Quote
Dingus420 Posted December 6, 2008 Author Report Posted December 6, 2008 yea no kidding eh, i just wait till theres a bunch of things dont have the tools for to limit my school visits, i hate goin there unless those grade 8s wanna buy some bunk weed i got some strips of ebony leftover, those should fill the gap just fine Quote
