Alonfire
My mate Jaden over at Guitar Workshop thought it'd be a good idea to post this on here. Its a custom jem body and neck. Sorry for the poor quality pics.
anderekel
Dude, that's pretty sweet. I really like that. Is that hand painted or what? Seems like it would have to be a lot of masking to do airbrushing.
RAI6
If it's custom, why not make it rear-routed? Or was the paint job an after-thought?
ae3
I'm digging the see-thru pickgaurd and the paint, but I love the multi-coloured strings even more! There's a section in this forum called "In progress and Finished work" I think this should be in there, but hey, your new. If the Mods want it moved they'll move it. That's probably one of my all time favourite Jems. More pics please
ae3
I'm sorry, it was in the "in progress and finished work" section. I'm such a berk.
Kenny
i like how the art has a psychedelic feel to me it works to have a visible cavity, i think it really defies our preconceptions about what should and shouldnt be displayed maybe im crazy but i digg it awsome work! Crowella
Yeah, I too found that clear pickguard showing the visible cavity interesting, it works well though, because it blends in with the artwork (which looks brilliant by the way) The fingerboard inlay is brilliantly done also, it still works with the paint work on the guitar. How was that painted, all by hand?
