dcsmith
After the clear coat process, how long can I expect to polish or sand. Started with # 600, 800, 1000, and now at #1500. It looks like there are some areas that are still rough, actually a lot of areas that are not glass like. I have also accomplished a couple of sand thru's. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks, DCSmith
wood is good
You only need to sand until there are no more scratches from the previous grit. Since you got sand thrus, you need to re spray more finish. If the areas your sanding arent level, you need to spray more finish anyway. I think my error was not aplying the clear heavy enough, trying to avoid freaking runs man! The headstock and neck look pretty good. I will try again, thanks, DCSmith
