theodoropoulos
I am planning to use a tremolo with 5.631 cm string spacing http://www.stewmac.com/shop/Bridges,_tailp...b=Specs#details My question is: for a 25.5" scale ,is the width 5.8 cm at the 24th fret ,enough? Metalhead28
Draw it out and judge for yourself. 1/8" is typical between the E strings and the fretboard edge.
guitarnut
It should be fine. This trem is designed to work with Strat's neck width of 2.1875" at the 22 fret. The bridge you spec has a slightly wider spacing of 2.210". Your fretboard extension should follow the lines of each side of the neck...not become parallel at any point. This should continue the same string-to-edge spacing as at the 22 fret. But, as Metalhead28 offers, there's no harm in sketching out to confirm. Peace, Mark
