avdude13
I got an ibanez neck off ebay with the head stock snapped off, I thought it would be a good practice neck for work. So I removed the fretboard using the tutorial on projectguitar.com and two of my inlays got so hot that they shrivelled up and fell off. I want to fix the truss rod on my jackson neck but don't want the same thing to happen, how can I prevent the same thing from happening again? Juntunen Guitars
Well what do you have to fix on your Jackson's truss rod? You might not have to take the fret board off, also what kind of inlays do you have on both guitars?
avdude13
They're both mother of pearl but I'm suspecting that the one on the ibanez is plastic. The Jackson is broken internally so a stew mac truss rod rescue kit wouldn't fix it.
