I bought this old 50's Belfone intercom system at an auction a while back because the receiver had tubes in it. Turns out the tubes are nothing special but when I tore it apart I found a lot of original transistors, a few original paper in oil caps, and six original early 50's two patent CRL 1452 three way switches.

I see a decent amount of information on the web that states that Fender used these switches from 1950 to 1953 until switching to the three patent model.

The thing that confuses me is that my switches are all missing the spring loaded cover on the one side of the switch. Did CRL make a guitar version of this switch especially for Fender ? Any opinions on whether or not my switches may be worth anything to someone looking to restore a vintage early 50's tele or strat ?

Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
