GuitarMaestro
That sounds really strange....you don't have to mount the router bits full depth. Try mounting the bit so that you can route deep enough. If that's not possible then something is really strange. Why should Dremel sell a router base taht cannot be used? Try mounting the bit so that you can route deep enough. If that's not possible then something is really strange. Why should Dremel sell a router base taht cannot be used? My point exactly. When doing the edges of the inlay, do you use the straight cut bit on the base, or do you use the carving attatchment? Seems to me like the fine point carving attatchments would be good for the edges (so they aren't so rounded), but I just can't find a way to set the depth for them. With the Stewmac base, can you attatch it to the flexshaft? I really want to be able to do that, and with the Dremel base I can't, so I have to take the Flex-shaft off everytime I want to do more precise work.
