henrim Posted October 1, 2022 Author Report Share Posted October 1, 2022 Actually viscosity was ok. I guess I had cold paint. I usually store paint in room temperature but these cans were in the cold garage. I mixed the patch without thinking about temperature and sprayed it immediately. henrim Posted October 2, 2022 Author Report Share Posted October 2, 2022 Now it has a beautiful satin sheen. I quickly went through the body with 2000 paper to get rid of some dust specs. I think the 15 year old me would have been impressed though And there have been good lessons making this build. After all it would have been far easier to make a completely new body. First thing I played was “Rock you like a hurricane”. Seemed appropriate. Need to take some photos some day but I can now concentrate finishing my other builds.
