skibum5545
What I need is a 12"x25"x1.5" alder body blank, one piece or two. The cheapest I can get that around here is $35 including planing, plus 3 hours of gas money. Can anyone else here hook me up with an alder blank? I live in Southeast Michigan. Much thanks! Scott Rosenberger
Good Luck, $35 is a really good price for an alder blank. Around here It would cost me about $20 just for the wood + the time in planing, jointing and Glueing etc I couldn't sell you one for $35 and break even

If you ask me, (which you didn't), $35 sounds like a pretty good deal.
skibum5545
Thanks for the advice, guys. I don't have a drivers license yet and so driving down for the blank involves pulling a parent out of work for 3 hours which can be kind of hard to schedule, etc... Scott Rosenberger
Why not call the supplier and see if they'll ship it to you
