Maiden69 Posted June 15, 2004 Report Share Posted June 15, 2004 Has anyone redone an Epi LP, I want to do mine but I will like to know if the top is a veneer or a solid. I already got a surprise when I sanded the neck bare and found that it was maple instead of mahogany. the last thing that I want is to sand thru the body to find that it,s a veneer and damage it. I plan on using a dye to stain the top,(it's flame maple) and then do some flames or a burst with the duplicolor Mirage system. Brian, or LGM any thoughts on this...
