Works for me...

Don't the ladies test their necklaces for real pearls by rubbing a pearl against a tooth? If it is real it there is supposed to be a little texture that grabs against the teeth and fakes are slick......
.....or something like that.
SR
Yep.,.,don't know if its true.,.,But I saw that explanation on M*A*S*H* recently

Hello
What guitar are you looking to build? Strat ,Tele, Les Paul?
Before buying any tools or wood I'd look into purchasing one of these books. http://www.amazon.co...r/dp/0953104907
http://www.amazon.co...r/dp/1846091276 The second one comes with full size plans for a strat style guitar. Both books are very detailed and with the search function here, should answer just about every question you might have. Good luck with your build!

I came to this forum looking to find out how to fix my broken Les Paul. The Bluespresence build made me want to be a member.
What a great bunch of people you are for the tribute you have paid to a lost friend.

Ask around at a few dept. stores. They frequently throw out unused or broken display units that are made of plexi.
I got quite a few usable pieces a local JCP store. They were more than happy to give it to be recycled.

Beautiful

Wow. What a build story. You had me on the edge of my seat.
I kept asking, what will it look like next? The guitar turned out great.

Love the white with that body. Im kinda seeing where you drew the inspiration for the body and I like your headstock shape Much better.

These pics might help?

Ive seen a few builders use it...
Orgmorg from here uses it and Thomas Lieber uses it on a few of his guitars.
Very nice to work with, easy on tools. Im using a book matched piece from Org on
this.

A full face respirator will help,., like these http://solutions.3m.com/wps/portal/3M/en_US/Health/Safety/Products/Catalog/?PC_7_RJH9U5230GE3E02LES9MG812H2_nid=K1Z02QNWK3beF3RH7CD92Ngl
But for best protection a shave is in order.

I think you should get an award for the 'Best Tutorial Host'.
Your detailed pics and explanations cannot be beat for thoroughness and detail.
Which really is the whole foundation of this forum, the passing along of workable, successful, repeatable detailed information from the experienced to the inexperienced, and you do it with really excellent clarity.
Bravo I sez. B)

With the correct tip and pin set, it will push latex(waterborne) wall an ceiling paint. But with the way the paint is atomized , flow rates and small cup size, it would be a pretty slow way to paint ceilings or walls. It would be faster the old school way, brush an roll. For cabinets, mill work and furniture it will work fine. Another thing with these type of sprayers is that with any fast drying product it can cause webbing (product drying at the tip) as the unit blows pretty hot air. Adding a second length of hose helped with that but only marginally.
lol,,,Ive been painting houses for as long an you have managed to avoid it...........
Lucky you.
