Excellenté Jeremy - as always!

Ive scalloped a couple of rosewood boards allready, and im about to do my first maple board. Ive heard its a bit harder than rosewood? Is there anything I should specifically do or not do? Also, once Ive done the normal; remove most of the wood, then smooth it out with progressivly finer grit papers what do I treat the wood with? On rosewood Id normally use lem-oil...
Thanks in advance

Ah, true slaughthammer...but thats just one of those things I was meaning it cannot go out of tune from excessive trem use...
-
roller nuts and graphite nuts are pretty close....locking nuts are still the best though, if you trem is set up correctly - it cannot go out of tune.

Use ebay.co.uk but select "items worldwide" from the options just under the search box - that searches all things that are available to the UK

*hopes you guys get this*

another vote for the 550

about 1.5mm of the neck too
-
The edge of the fretboard is about 7.2mm above the body, and i doubt it rises by much more than 1mm, so id go for about 8.5mm

one way mirror is available. Its used for windows in interigation rooms and things like that. Im sure it must be on sale somewhere....
-

Its just a rotational switch, you can buy em at most electronics supply places

yeah it looks pretty cool man as you said there is a little bleeding, but im shure you could get it to work perfectly with enough practice.... Good luck!
-
I shall say it again - real real cool!

Well guys need to get myself out of debt so shees going to have to go.
Its in VERY good condition - minor finish defects (about 2 on the whole guitar, clearcoat only), little fretware, no neck pocket cracks, slight wear on the trem - you get the idea .
The only minor problem is that the fretboard is pretty dirty - this would be easy to clean up, I just havnt got round to it, and i like the honey colour it is at the moment anyways...
Pics on request.
UK is prefered as I feel I would have to ask silly money in the US with the exchange rates as they are, but you never know. Make me an offer!

Thats my workbench - I love it. Enough room to work on a guitar and leave tools ETC around it, and Ive got my little clamp on vice there too; all I need
-
Well she's getting there, Slowly but surely, i'm hoping to have it finished and enter in the GOTM compo, do ya reckon it'll be good enough ?
Its looking ace mate What neck you got planned for it? And about guitar of the month; there is only one way to find out

Could work, but i think smoke and steam tend to rise, whereas paint tends to fall... Would get rid of some of it though.

I allready have a guitar with an 81 in the bridge, and I want something a little different/smoother

I was gonna do the crackle but I couldnt get hold of the right glue. Im selling my SK so I thought I would need a pink guitar around the house anyways... .
After I took the photo I had the mess with the hue in photoshop, because the camera couldnt capture the colour properly - Thats as close as I could get it to real life and hence i had to add some pink (happened to the neck n the wall too tho ) So no, I didnt paint the neck, it just looks that way...
-
Id go for a volute... as illustrated here...

I sold it to someone in brighton for £690, and he loves it (fool...). Bought me a ADA mp2 pre amp and a marshall 20/20 power amp (and re-wired the mesa cab for stereo). Ive got a sonic maximiser on the way, and the g major I think Ill get in May, when I have some dosh (8 string is sucking funds at the moment...)
