im just curious, not sure,
but if there are any really good builders out there,i am kind of interested in buying( i would use for personal playing not reselling)
how much would you charge for a:
1.2 (or one) peice strat copy ash body. routed for both a standard tremolo, and 3 single coil pickups configuration thats finished the simplest way possible? that would provide be a good fit with a fender neck?
please give me a quote i am intersted in buying.

hi everone,
i need to ship a guitar and an amp
but i dont have the boxes and i dont know where to ship from
1.what company should i use( i think maybe fedex?)
2. where can get the correct size boxes to feet a guitar and/or amp.?
-
very cool tops
-
well im not sure if this helps,
but i was working on my fender strat and i put in some new pickups. and when you look at the 5 way switch, when the switch is in the 1 and 5 position they are closer to the metal screws that holds the switch in.
And if you did not properly shield/ground the guitar, when replacing something, the hardware, might just be sensitive.

hey man if you want i can sell you an amp and a guitar for your budget price.
.
please send me a message.

i cant put my finger on what the guy in that guitar looks like, but it kind of looks like a snowman, or scarecrow, im not sure.

hey no problem
thanks for your help man
-
i tested the problem and it only happens when the trem springs are touching the claw.
But i dont understand what can i do other than not put the springs on
electronic wizards please help
-
thanks,
the problem is i initially grouned the wire to the trem's claw, but it still makes this problem
-
Hi everybody,
I put in a new pickup/configuration in my stratocaster, and it sounds really good.
I grounded the a wire to part of the tremelo unit, but i get really bad fuzz noise when my hand gets near or touches the string or bridge.
When i removed the springs from the tremolo, i do not get this background noise.
My question is i want to put in the tremolo's springs so that i can use the whammy bar, but i dont want that background noise either.
I know this is a grounding issue(any help would be appreciated)
thanks

if you buy the marshall and washburn with case , there is an immediate price reduction.
washburn specs:
mahogany neck and body, set neck construction and sculpted heel joint but
very lightweight wood!
2 washburn 57 classic humbuckers(same pickups used in expensive gibsons)
quilted maple top in caramel burst
18:1 gear grover tuner (6 in line)
professionally rewired
on/offswitch on the guitar
and volume and tone
(con:one chip on the back, not the wood just the finish)
hardshell case
marshall mg250dfx amp:
50+50 =100 watts of power
2 *12" celestion speakers
built in reverb, delay, chorus, flange,
change channels with a footswitch
clean and classic marshall distortion
less than a year old
financial burden is leading to this sale
price: no reasonable offer will be refused

everything must go
you list a price on this thread that is reasonable, and you may have a deal,
in terms of confidence in the products the order is
1. marshall amp
2.custom washburn
3.fixed 100%fender
(could use a little work)
-
oh yeah if anyone is interested, then ill list maybe the prices i was thinking
ok becuse the amp retails for around 499 i figure id cut the price in half to around 250, obo
for the strat, the pickups cost around 130 for the set, so the total for the guitar would be around 200-250 maybe
(note this guitar was once taken apart, but put back together)
for the washburn, since the pickups cost around 90 each, but they have been used, i figure the cost of the guitar would go to around 215 with case, hell the case is worth at least 70.
ps i live in california,usa

2. a fender standard strat upgraded with "fender vintage noiseless strat pickups"
used body and neck(scratches), but the pickups and connections are relatively new
3. a washburn x50 with a set of 2 gibson 57 classics, with a hardshell case
(again used)
please anyone email or reply to this thread with questions about the products
-
if this is one of your first guitars and you dont have that many tools and/or supplies i would look in the tutorial section of this site, and check for the one made by jon fischer. He makes a les paul.
-
from what i hear korina is also can cause an allergic reaction in many people.
Im not sure if thats the reason gibson doesnt produce as many as they used to in korina, but thats just a guess.
I've never worked with it before so im not 100%sure.
-
which do you prefer
-
cmon, nothings for free
you have the phone you pay for the service
anyways its nice you are trying to spread the word about the great deal

Best Guitarist Ever
in Put it to a vote
Posted
Look its common knowledge that there are guitarists around the world that are technically "better" than guitarists in the spotlight. But in terms of the best guitarists, my vote has to go Jimi hendrix. Listen to some of his songs, and you can not deny his extreme originality and talent." All along the watchtower" , which is a cover, is for instance , is brillaint.
