-
Thanks guys because I was considering building electric upright bass as close to 40'' scale length without having to buy upright strings. I just wanted to experiment with that.
-

Anyways leave the guitar alone the value will only go up.

Hey guys some one came to me and wanted a guitar repaired I said I'd give it a try since I don't have acoustic guitar experience. It just needs a bone saddle and bridge pins. I need help what is the best way to install and shape a saddle? Should I use my radius gauge and copy the neck radius to the saddle?

Soooo....anyway....TOMs require a neck angle due to the bridge’s height unless you recess them :-D
Yeah it is a bolt on neck so it can be shimmed to the proper angle. Depends on what Iceman wants to do with it.

Fender style hardtails or tom's are always a good choice but they are the most common.
-
SG by far then Les Paul and Warlock

You misunderstood me I think I want to build it. I didn't build that, that ain't me I thought that upright would be cool to learn to play upright on.
-
Hey guys what do you think of this homemade upright bass? Think it's worth building to learn on? People on youtube seem to like it. But I thought I'd ask you guys though.

Hi, I have a fixer upper B.C. Rich Platinum series guitar I was thinking of selling. It is either an Assassin or more likely an ST. The finish is Black with yellow crackle. I have a tremolo with it but it is in rough shape. I also have pickups to go with it they are not Emgs but they will do. The tuners are included.

What kind of tremolo is this? It came with my B.C. Rich fixer upper and I would like a new trem. It looks like a Floyd but it doesn't say Floyd on it. The guitar can be seen in my restoration post.

The low E and the high E are supposed to be about 1/8 from the edge of the fretboard to keep them from falling off.
