it sounds friggin awesome. the middle position sounds very stratty when clean, not so good when using high gain. All my 2 humbucker guitars are wired that way.

you need either a Dimarzio #EP1111 special 3 way switch or it's possible to use a standard Tele 3way blade switch as well. Kevan is the only person I know of with the Wiring diagram for the thele switch

I did a similar thing in Music Class when I was in High school. I had a friend with a station wagon drive me to school that morning so I could bring my JCM 800 head and 900 Cab and my effects.

Imagine the look in my teachers' face when I wheeled the half stack down the hall.

My point is that you'lll feel MUCH more comfortable if you're hearing the familiar tone of your rig when you're playing. ESPECIALLY If you're not going through a PA ie, no monitors

No my Goatee didn't get stuck in the machine, actually I shaved it off. The necks were cut last weekend and I'll have photos Saturday evening. I'm kinda splitting time between this, Work and a Neck Through 4 string Bass for a very good friend of mine. (More on that later)

BTW:  Passed through your neck of the woods this weekend and experienced the fine offerings of your local Bob Evans.
