did you switch string gauges? it sounds like a nut binding issue

The correct way holoflash is done it goes on top of the paint. therefore it IS Possible to Holoflash a Swirl. the way the tutorial shows you how to Holoflash (Which is incorrect) you'd have to mask part of the Holoflash then Swirl.

On Thanksgiving my friend Andy lost his battle with Gastrointestinal Cancer. I've known him through work for the last 14 years. He was a bit of a strange guy on the outside but once you talked to him you realized what a great person you were talking to. We both shared interest in guitars which he owned alot of. We'll apparently I made an inpression of some sort on him over the years because his parents notified me that i was written into his will and received the 3 Favorite guitars he had, an '03 PRS Singlecut Trem Raspberry "10" top a '99 PRS McCarty Purple "10" Top and the Brand new Carvin Carved top that I helped him Spec before he ordered it. The Carvin (in the Middle) has a Special Order Koa Body and Neck and a monster Sausage Quilt top. Anyhow I'm still pretty upset/amazed so Here's a pic for now I'll be back later

looks like Drak has rubbed off on you

Where were you 2 moths ago, when I had 2 brand new speedloaders that I practically gave away on ebay

I soak the cap in acetone (to clean dried glue) and make sure the bottle is tightly sealed. you could go one step further and put it in a ziplock bag. CA Cures faster with humidity

The only thing I could consider a negative concerning the Schallers is the locking screw is smooth and won't take a intonation tool (the little slider/spring jobber that AllParts sells to help intonate) and the D-Tuna. I have'nt tried the D-Tuna but it appears as though it needs that knob on the end. I'd guess that you could swap out that screw for an OFR type but I haven't tried that yet either. Basically, I like the Schaller very much but will pick the OFR when possible.
Any info on why you like these bridges would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
Dave, I just swap the fat screw for an OFR Screw when intonating the schaller bridge. Works fine. I don't use a D-Tuna so I can't comment there

The fact that Wes left was do purely to personal reasons for him not that PG was the sole cause. Wes felt that he was spending waaay too much time o the net in general, thus neglecting other more serious issues in his life. In fact he's completely removed his net access from his home.
and Smitty, AFAIC if PG sucks that bad, you're free to leave at any time. I for one wouldn't lose any sleep over it.

put me down for a couple if you go that route. if I were you I'd check out CMT Bits first. the Orange Ones. I've been using them for years with ZERO Complaints

Do you think so? The only reason I ask is because the guitar player I'm working with has been through two Budda Wahs, and currently owns his third Fulltone, but he always seems to end up putting the (true bypass modded) Crybaby back on the pedalboard when we play out.If you can afford it try to get a budda wah or a Fultone if you REALLY have the cash.I totally think so, but not everyone has the good taste I do
Edit, does he have the Fultone Clyde or the Clyde Deluxe? the Deluxe is WAAAAAAYY more versatile
-
Steve Vai has done this on occasion too, this big difference is that Vai takes all of the proceeds and put's them into his Charity
-
whatever Wah you decide on, do yourself a favor and have the True Bypass mod done to it. A Wah without True Bypass is a tone sucking hunk of metal
If you can afford it try to get a budda wah or a Fultone if you REALLY have the cash

it definately isnt routed for an Ibanez Edge/LoPro/EdgePro. That looks like a TRS Trem route to me. The pickup routes dont look like standard ibanez either

nut binding is -Strings not sliding freely through the slots in the nut. It's common on lower priced guitars. You can get some nut sauce to lube the nut or take it to a repair man and have the nut slots widened or nut replaced with a Graphtech nut
