  1. MAILMAN: one more post off topic and you will get a 2 week vacation. Keep the thread on guitars and keep your opinions in the off topic section.

you're gonna ban me from the site for talking about fedex and guitars in a fedex-guitar thread?

    man, thats harsh

no, We're going to ban you for bashing the Company. This thread is about a Guitar. It just happens to have the FedEx logo on it.

  2. it's more about consistancy. If you get a good conditioner that actually regulates the voltage you'll sound more consistant from gig to gig. FYI most of those "rack rider" things don't regulate voltage, they only protect against surges like a giant rack mounted power strip

  3. acctually im putting it in a guitar im gonna be makin in the next few weeks. i just got a neck from carvin. its neck through. im gonna go with maple for the rest of the body. but i think im gonna go with the Emg's. i heard that the battery last a while. like say if you changed it every 2 months you would be more then fine. im also thinkin about getiing and Emg after burner along with it.

Just dont leave your cable plugged into the guitar

  4. Well, the ones on the right side of the headstock will be "upside down," so the tuner knobs on the right will be lower than the ones on the left... other than that there's no problem.

You can take them apart and put the gear posts in from the other side so they're correct.
  5. And then there's all those guys who bought a "pre-lawsuit" PRS singlecut, hoping it would pay their kids' way through college - :D serves 'em right!

I take exception to that remark, I bought 2 Singlecuts and put them under the bed right after I heard about the lawsuit. Oh well At least I get to play them now :D
