Welcome Paul, you might want to have a read aroung the forum, there's a rule about posting your business website in your signature

I've been looking into 7string sustainers and sustainiac is the only company that makes one and its a single coil size only.
If you find another manufacturer let me know

Hard Ash sustains forever and it holds up really well on the low end. I have an ash ESP tuned down to C# and the thing sounds awesome. Ash however is a bitch to work on, at least the last 3 bodies i've had the displeasure of contour sanding
Hope this helps

Be carefull those have two conductor wiring so you wont be able to coil split or tap just on off only

I'm sure Doug from vh-guitarstore.com will stumble in here somewhere. He's a Van Halen fanatic. he also paints killer Van Halens

attach the neck to the body, then put the low E and high E strings on and attach to the bridge. then move the bridge right and left until they are aligned properly on the neck, then find the center point between the strings and mark it. after that connect the mark from the centert of the neck pocket with the mark you just made at the bridge

the thing that attracteed me to the JPM is the position of the volume knob. on the RG it's right under the bridge pickup where my hand hits it constantly. thats why I'm building my JPM Custom because I cant afford a real one and mine will be as good if not better Wait til you see the finish I'm whipping up a combination of old and new school stuff

Make a shim out of a piece of Beer can or similar metal and put it under the low b saddle
-
Sweet Ride Ed, I'm looking forward to your next project

My guitar does that too , not all of the time mind you!, but the bridge is grounded fine.
its a mystery to me
that could have to do with other things on the same circuit as your amp. Also if you have alot of effects in a rack and they're plugged into two different circuits.
-
Sounds to me like your bridge isn't grounded. Make sure there is a ground wire going from the bridge to the ground on the pots

Not interested in Headless guitars at all. Part of the turn on for me is the headstock shape.

Good Stuff :o I was never big on dean guitars though At least you don't have to worry about me out sniping you

What's the voltage in Australia? In the US it's generally 110-115 Volts In the UK it's 220-240

I'm not sure if you can do that, You need to find out if the pickup is capable of having it's coils split and tapped

Badger, Paasche, and Thayer Airbrushes are the best. You know you get what you pay for. Paasche and Badger are easiest to get parts for. You could probably use that small pancake compressor to run them, provided you get the big one fixed to run the Pinrouter

I've got an Ash Bodied ESP MIII with translucent blue finish and it appears that the clear actually contains the color, ie the wood isn't stained but sprayed with blue tinted clear first until the desired color is achieved, then finished with regular clear. Looks awesome though
New, used, or converted?

Not neccessarily, Just try to get references and Pictures of the shops work if you can't see it in person, ask about money back guarantee to see if they'll stand behind their work
