  1. Im having trouble with my Marshall A cab, the problem that seems to be distressing me is that each time i insert the speaker cable into the stereo input it works yet each time i then insert the speaker cable into the mono output it disinclines to work.

There was a lose cable in it that i have resoldered so that it is intact, yet the aformentioned problem still occurs. It might be a faulty switch but im still not positive it is. Any help anyone?

  2. I recently brought a 535Q wah wah from America 2 months ago, now im back in England it seems to be doing this weird thing where 4 times out of 10 when I press the wah wah down it works, then when I press it to stop and take my foot off the wah wah everything goes silent until i have to push the pedal forward a little and regain the signal.

Any ideas on how to stop it?

  3. i have this picture booklet from prs in my local music store which was free, it had all the guitars in it and on every other page it had all these pictures of the guitars being built.

one picture shows a guitar getting ready for carving with a top which was nearly an inch high (is this normal for them) and one of the others had a picture of man chiselling the top with the lines for where to chisell on it (good news for me) but the top is around an inch high at the back to about one centermetre at the neck end making it really slanted (is this right)

i will post pics in a bit

  4. Can you put a systen on the guitar where you flick a switch and the pitch drops like it has been downtuned?..I know there is a simulator on pedals but can it be put onboard a guitar?

you mean like on a whammy reissue,

it can be done, expensive though

  5. this questions really for anybody good with electronics or amps.

on my dsl there are two channels operated by foot switch as you probably know, they can also be changed from clean to crunch and from distortion to lead sound via a switch on each channel on the amp.

i was wondering if there is any way to make a pedal for the amp where i can change the settings without having to run up to the switch mid gig.

    Oli
