How do you determine the width of a neck? Here is the way I was thinking of doing it....
1: Take the distance from the end of the nut to the closest outside string
2: Take that distance and add it to the string spread on the bridge.
3: Mark the string spread with the added length of the excess nut.
4: Connect the dots
Is this how it's normally done?

As cool as ninjas are, when was the last time you ever saw a ninja and a hot girl in the same shot? I rest my case.... Pirates! ...even though Sam Fisher would kick a pirates ass..... but Sam Fisher is cooler than a ninja so he shouldn't count

I use CoolEdit Pro 2.1 (or whatever the latest version was before Adobe bought it out). It's the only recording software I've ever used and I must say, even with the $20 Sony mic and the extremely outdated laptop I use to record, it is a great program. Effects, filters, equalizers, noise/hiss reducers....... the list keeps going but like I said I can't compare it to any other recording programs, mostly because once I found it I havent bothered to look for anything else. I do belive it is now called Adobe Audition.

Well...... that's a lot of white. It might look cool to use clear plexi-glass, as long as you don't plan on shielding, that way you would be able to keep more wood showing as well as give the back a little more interesting look. Just a suggestion, good work BTW.
