Hehe sweet guitar seems like a "Dean '79 V" in braziliaburst!!

They are beauty's and cheap too (500€ - 700€)

I modified the body a bit with photoshop (hope you don't mind )
I fixed the horns a bit and added some depth
you can find it here

Hi,
I have an epiphone Lp standard and i want to add a gold racing stripe in the middle of my guitar.
just like james hetfield one's (but instead of to the side ,to the middle )
what would be the best way to do it?
PS. here's a picture of james hetfield's lp

I love the grain!!
so both ways you'l have a nice looking guitar,
I suggest you look here for inspiration:

very special v's that would cost a fortune if you would have to buy them.
so why not make them
-
I would put a veneer on it!
It will make your guitar look better and its a solution to your problem!
-
Very nice!!
I just love the grain on the wood!!
I would buy one like that anyday (if i had money! )

thanks for the replys!
(I would probably have gotten one of those if I lived in the USA, but shipping to Spain costed too much: $75 for a $100 kit)Itought universal Jems shipped them for 45€?
anyways wich tuners would you recommend for an upgrade mini's, kluson style?
and would they fit the pegholes on the saga kit?

Hi,
I'm gonna start with my first project this summer,
since its my first project its gonna be a saga kit and I was wondering if I can cut a large fender headstock shape (like the late 60's-70's) outof the sage headstock.
And can you tell me something about the quality of the kit?

hi, I was wondering how it would be possible to reproduce an aged finish like the randy rhoads les paul.
its a white les paul custom creamed by time.
is there a special method??am I able to buy aged parts lik aged binding?
here is a pic.

I was wondering how binding on a guitar works?
Will I need a special cutter or is it possible to do it with a normal knife?
& is it much more difficult on a carved top?
I might start a project this summer.

Hi,
I was looking at the warmoth bodies and noticed that they don't have a cyclone body!
does the mustang body got the same measurements as the cyclone??
and if not is it possible to make amustang with 1 humbucker and a single coil?

Hi I'm kinda new here,
I enjoy reading all of your posts here at the forum,
but since I'm only 16 and I havn't got the money I can't build a guitar!
but I do have some idea's for the future (who knows, one day?) !
A Flying V with flame maple top, white & pearloid binding,
a bit like this one but then in V style & trapezoid inlays.
or a carved top brazilian rosewood Les paul with 7-ply binding and gold hardware,
The last one is a bit inspired by Drak's V (I just love that finish!!)
thats 'bout it
