Can anyone recommed the size of wire to use for installing pickups and pots. And where to get such suppies as im in the Uk. Ive looked everywhere on the web for such info. Does anyone know any good soldering tutorials. Thanks Ian

Hi Guys, im new on this forum so first off i will say hi. The basic questions i need answering are whats the best wire to use for guitar electronics i know the its best to use shielded cables for circuitry and any wire will do for earthing etc.. but what size is best diameter wise. Also whats the best Solder to use and size if it comes in sizes, also i have a 25w Solder Iron is this a good size to use. Are there any other bits of kit i should consider getting to do work on my guitar. Any one know any good shops in Uk for parts a wires. Also ive been looking at a Black Ice Capacitor to fit to my tone control will this give me thicker distortion and tone. Thanks guys sorry for all the questions. Ian
