I know alot about music, and the job would be perfect for me, except im 16. Do you have to be 18 to work there?? I think you do, but i'm just makin sure
-
wow cool, so they have dumpsters out back?? my local guitar center is like in a plaza type place with best buy right next to it. Do you go inside and ask permission, or do you just sneak out back and grap whatever you can?? ever find any amps or guitars, or just cases??? I have to try that out sometime
-
so places like guitar center just throw stuff out??? that's crazy man
-
hey, how much do you think that would cost to ship?? 19lbs is quite a bit, probably like 15 or 20?? i'm buildin a neck thru, so i won't be able to get 8..
-
cool, cause with it 1" thick and a 1/4" fingerboard that should be plenty. I don't know what i would do with 8 necks, lol. i'd probably just sell blanks to you guys........heheh
-
ohh, when i saw you had your humbucker rings installed, i thought you just used that as a template. Has anyone ever tried this before??
-
hey how bout
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...8112360227&rd=1
but i only need 1...........
-
yeah, i guess i'll just find some hard rock maple......
-
yeah i know string thru is supposed to help with sustain and all, but i can't stand them.
-
i'm not complainin...........
-
wow, that sounds pretty terrific........almost too good to be true, I think that's the one i would go with. Have you seen any guitars with the chrome model on?????
-
hey do you guys think i can make a neck outta this????
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...8112797351&rd=1
if it's the right kinda wood (i know it's not hard rock) i was gonna glue two together to get the thicknes.......
-
have you ever tried that one (stew mac). It looks nice.....Yeah i would take a TOM on last resort, but i already got it on my les paul and i'm gonna try something new.....
-
man you gotta love those big block inlays......
-
they only offer 2 for a six string right??
-
I was thinking about making a rosewood neck. Do you know anybody who's done that, and if so what did it sound like?? And it's hardness etc....It's either a maple laminate or rosewood for me probably
-
man theory is a pain in the ace, but it is definitely worth while....
-
lol, you gotta love flea's signiture
" F L E A "
and some teeth??
-
yeah i know, i wanna see that puppy finished before i start mine
-
I want to figure out what bridge I'm gonna use on my maple/black limba neck thru, so i can figure if i need a neck angle and all that good stuff. Can anybody recommend me a good bridge......Prefereably a hard tail, but i'm open to TOM suggestions too. thanks
-
hey, have any of you guys seen a lp painted the way jimmy page's dannelectro was?? you know black on the front and back and white on the edges. I was thinkin about doin that, any feedback??
-
ohhh, i was thinking of like the blue ones at musicians friend. they're fender showmaster's too. my bad yeah those are like 600, what a rip man
-
well you get what you pay for.......$250, I kinda suspected that they sucked....
plus it's not like fender is a cheap company or anything..
-
I was also thinking of shaving my neck of the les paul I have. I hate the feel of lacquer, and why anyone would put it on the back of a neck is beyond me. when i try and slide up and down, it sorta sticks, not too much but a bare neck fender, with some sort of oil feels way better. anybody done this??
Hey do you know how old you have to be to work at
in Players Corner
Posted
heck yeah dude, i live in oklahoma btw. do you work there??
