Don't waste your time with spraycans, especially Krylon.
It's WAAAAY too soft to use on guitars and totally ruins your tone.

Finally got it all hooked up.
I'll let you know how it works out.

Nice find!
Got a link?

You can use a standard pedestal but you will need to fabricate a mount that will hold the motor and arbor. You can make it out of MDF - that is what we did.
Thanks for the response guys ...
mammoth guitars, would you happen to have a picture of your buffing rig?
Sounds like that's what I need to do, I'm just not sure of the best way to go about it.
Thanks!

I recieved this buffing arbor from StewMac for Christmas and I'd like to know if anyone else here uses this same model.

The problem I have is that I have a rather small shop and was hoping to svae space and just mount this on a pedestal.
However, this particular model requires that you provide your own motor which rules out any sort of pedestal mount.
If anyone here owns this model (or similar), what is your setup?
Can it be made to be "portable"? (meaning, can I pack it away when not in use)
Or will I have to use up alot of space to permanently mount it somewhere?
What do you guys suggest for mounting?
Thanks!

Care to post some kind of proof that it doesn't?
Spraypaint is for lawn furniture, not guitars.
