I have been intrested in an old kramer that i saw at a local guitar shop they wanted 499 for it but they sold it back in 81 for 699 and they wouldnt go much lower so i was wondering if anyone knew where i could buy some vintage kramer pacers or barretta american made not korean. I dont like the new ones because they are made in korea and i heard they dont even compare to the old ones at all. Thanks

I was looking for a new guitar and found a used 1981 Kramer guitar i am not quite sure of the model but it is a strat style guitar with a regular tremelo not floyd rose. I like the way the guitar played and the guy was only asking 499 for it but it would need a little work just simple stuff like fix the volume nob and new pickguard and backplate. I was wondering if anyone knew if this would be a good deal or not thanx

I have always been intrested in building my own amp i was wondering if anyone knew of a kit to build like a small combo amp or even just a plain head and i could build the cabinet. Or if anyone knew of a place where i could get a tutorial and a place where i could buy all the materials

The body is already routed and i wanted it to be sort of like a trashy look and so i am gonna mount a humbucker in the bridge and i was planning on mounting a single coil in the neck and show some of the wiring and stuff

Do you mount the pickup right in the hole or do you mount it to a small peice of wood then mount that in the hole

Hey i am building a les paul relic guitar i want it to look really messed up and the paint is faded and i was wondering if i could mount a pickup in it without using pickup mounting rings i was thinking that i could just mount the pickup on a small peice of wood and screw that into the hole so that the pickup stays up close to the strings but i didnt know if this would take away from the tone or sustain

I need to know how to do an easy like walnut satin atin i am new at refinishing so i need a very easy way that comes out looking half way descent. And i was wondering if it would look good on an alder body thank you

What is the locking nut for than? what makes it better than a regular nut

Do i have to have a floyd rose tremelo because i just have a strat tremelo not floyd rose

Hey i am currently rebuilding my yamaha rgs 121 into a nice looking and great sounding jackson style guitar. I have already bid on some jackson emg looking pickups and now i need a neck. So if any of you have a jackson style, reversed headstock neck that is in good cond. preferably painted black but that could be hard to find. I will be willing to pay enough for it. in the color coat there is some dull spots and i was going to wet sand the color coat and spray it for another coat of color

I just painted my lp guitar after many days of sanding and priming. I am using the duplicolor auto paint and it looks pretty good exept there is a few dull spots in the paint job. Will this go away when i sand it and do a second coat ? and should i wet sand the body or dry sand it

I am looking for a LP SG style neck it doesnt have to be gibson but i would like it to be if it is not gibson it would be good if it had no headstock decals or labels i need it to be preferably new with minimal scratches or blemishes and has to be black finish or anything to match a sunburst i am not looking to spend that much but will spend enough if i have to
