  1. The pickup had a trap door in it. the door fell when the button was pushed (one of the unused pots) and lit the homemade smokebomb and lit up a halogen light. However, it still catches fire Perviously he just had it in the control cavity with the fuse hanging out. Watch early vids of "She". You can see him use a bic lighter. I think the Alive (Cobo Hall, 1975) has the shot I am thinking of. Cant find a shot now. The other pots were running a ribbon cable through the neck that lit the rockets. It is primarily his black 3 pickup 1960 custom he did that with. On the cover of Alive!it only had the pickup Larry Dimarzio made for him....what would become the Super Distortion.....

Looks like a Bastard V or a Beast that Paul Stanley molested. :D

  2. Gold finish has a Beautilul gold ,with no Checking or Greening

Yes, but wouldnt a real 57 have such things?

Plastic Parts are a little dicolored, Probably because this guitar was played or left in a room that had smokers in it...even the control Knobs turned color

Yes that would be normal for a vintage Les Paul. And the original case with no scratches? The PAF with no sticker? Well, it sound shady to me.

  3. Ok, so here's the thing. I need money. I havent played this one in like 2 years. In a hard rock band, the lipsticks werent the sound, and the 12 string was a tad wierd. I am selling it. I paid $600US for the guitar and $120US for the case in 1999. The whole thing goes for $550US plus shipping OBO. I gigged with it back in late 99 and it got one ding. Barely noticeable, and I took a pic of it.

I will include the case of course, 1 set of new strings of your choice brand for each neck, and a blue strap with lightning bolts if I can find the bastard. I will ship FedEx and would prefer North America only, but I will ship international. Yes, that means Canada is a go.

Please email me with all questions about this guitar. the frets have little wear, the necks are straight, and it weights about 12.5 lbs. I will also include all the original tags.
