if you're looking for something that will NEVER yellow, use acrylic lacquer(start to finish-do not spray acrylic lacquer over nitro..)

if you meand wedging wood in, maybe. It usually does, but with a squier, maybe only slightly. The sustain will increase tho.

Speaking of nitro, can it be applied over duplicolor without issues?

Yes you can, and they make blocks for it. You could also make it a hardtail. Or you could wedge wood in there or add springs and tighten the claw up. Take your pick

That's odd because I have seen double creme duncans. Of course they are probable called something different and are special order.
As for a true jimmy page pickup, I officially introduce the pagebucker!
Shuld be notied that Jimmy has been using Gibson 498t bridge pickups with a 500r for years.

I remember saying how original danos had a poplar shell. They newer ones were a plywood shell. If you need a pic I can get one for ya.
