Aah, a cherry red Swede - that brings back some bittersweet memories! That was my first real bass, and I've loved Hags ever since! They even made an 8-string version of that axe - Noel Redding played one (post-Experience) when he was with either Fat Mattress or Road.

I am interested in getting a drum machine since i dont know a drummer and i know that everyone always gets into arguements about what best means. well here are my points of interest in this
the most drum loops (or create your own)
the most realistic drum sounds
a lot of types of drums
"i dont wanna have me pants pulled down over the price"(execute with british accent
that would go well with a liverpool accent

yeah, its a poor solo with terrible tone - neck pup, gain at 10 treble at 10, mid at 8 bass at 3, 4" speaker.
though you could play it with a proper tone, try get a petrucci or romeo tone - both rock, infact romeo he pwns petrucci.

not nocking you for attempting the solo btw. but dan and i have heard a SUPREME version of that solo, lmao - glen and the other one had nothing to do with it, lmao they wish they could play! who played it dan?
It was one of the Angra guitarists, Kiko Loureiro or Rafael Bittencourt.
All the solos on their cover totally eat Priest.
They made the first one neoclassical, lmao.

from what i can remember, the start of the solo sounds like the neck pickup, so try that.
Apart from that, use buzzy practise amp distortion, and year old strings.

IMO most of the gimmick guitars like that are nearly pointless.
