  1. You say you would like to keep the neck of the RG? I am interested in getting a double edge trem for some time, but I guess you want to sell the complete body at once? In both cases how much money would you like for the complete body or the trem alone?

Id take 300 plus shipping for the body and trem minus pups?

Its hard to value the trem since Ive never seen one sperate. The main reason Id want to include the body is for you to see the wiring and routing.

The pick guard is a little scratched

    1.jpg

It has some dings and scratches but is in overall fair condition. It also is not a plywood body.

  4. I have an extended trial version of Guitar Rig and am not too impressed so far. Im certainly not going to shell out $450 for it. The magazine reviews for guitar rig have been less than glowing as well.

Guitar Rig is made by Native Instruments.

Ampilitube also has a plug in and stand alone version that I have yet to try.

  5. I keep string on my parker for at least 6 months at a time. Usually then I replace them due to being dead. I would say it is totaly a myth. I play the guitar almost daily. Use it 1x or more a week in band practice and gig several times a month on it. I know they need to be changed more I'm just incredbly lazy.

I have noticed no more or less wear due the SS. I also don't buy into Ed Romans brightness thing. It may be that I play a nite fly and not a regular fly but it is one of the best sounding guitars ive played.

  6. awww god i just saw that, grossssss, whyd you point that out, im scarred for years to come now

i'm sorry i must have missed the gross part...just looks like a barely covered girl to me...slightly larger than what you kids seem to look at on tv these days, but not unnattractive

but then again...we all change as we get older.i guess when i was a teenager i was taken in by all those super thin girls on all the posters.

nothing wrong with thin either though...as you get older i think your tastes will broaden. :D

Sounds like Wes is desperate.... B)

  7. Is it original or a cover situation?

In my band we do all originals except for and ocasional cover. So what we're looking for is someone to fit the emptiness. Usually a drummer.

The emptiness is not only music but a part of the machine that is Excessive Compulsive. Personality, musical style, etc...

We're a laid back bunch doing this for fun, so we dont need some prick who can't have a good time and cant pay attention or be on time.

Making it through the first night is mostly dependant on attitude and showing some potential to make it work. I don't expect someone to know all our material right away but they should be clicking somewhat and trying to play to the song and not show off.

  8. Would you trade for........

    .......cash (chi-ching)

    cash is king

    Indeed it is

    How much? What currency?

And I'm in the UK BTW - mind shipping this far?

The NOS ones are going for $150 on evil bay. So i was think $100 for this one. That would be Us dollars or gold plated latinum.

If you'll pay to ship it, I'll send it there.

thats the model not the actual pic. It has the lock for behind the nut.

I pulled it from a friends charvel and am replacing it with a wilkinson for him.

Basically he's always hated the trem and wants a more simple design.

My payment for the setup and other work is the old parts.

Im open to cash and trade offers.(pedals, pups, parts)

Once the wilkinson gets here I can offer the stud bushings as well. It is spaced the same as american standard strats and wilkinsons. Should be a direct fit, you milage may vary.

It would be cool for a project.
