Well I got tired of the Beatles/Stones/Faces/Who/Kinks/Byrds/Buffalo Springfield/Doors rut that I've always been in, but there doesn't seem to be anyone nearby who wants to tempt the muse and improvise. I'll probably get sucked into another go-round pretty soon.

Can't stand Nash-Vegas, I need more melody than the 80's and thrash offer, don't have the shred technique and the classical approach escapes me.

So I jingle-jangle for the dogs and cat, "the sound hole and my knee."
I'm refinishing my old stand-by Guild F-212XL. I'm wondering if anyone has any ideas on how may finish coats you can put on before you begin to dampen the projection of the soundboard (top) on a solid-topped, acoustic guitar?
