You should be able to use a gif since the board mainly runs on them, when you right click on the image you uploaded over there what does the address (URL) in the properties say?
-
Never even heard of one......

Just to give you an idea of what the first and second batches looked/will look like the first batch was 3/4 sleeve baseball t-shirts in White with Black Sleeves
With the Logo looking like this on the front and back
The second batch will be the same except the shirts are White with Purple sleeves and of course the logo mispelling has been changed.
The Third batch is of course up for grabs as far as design goes.
-
Could get a contest on the third batch as the first one is done and gone and the second one is in the works. They have this logo on them
If you'll notice the Guidence was spelled wrong for the first batch and has been corrected on the second set, also they say Project Guitar.com instead of the following website. My friend Darren is printing them and lives in Pensacola which of course is being threatened by Ivan at the moment .
-
The first batch of shirts had a miss print in spelling so I'm waiting on the second batch then they will be available to the public

What about using a strap pin jack so you can use the exsisting strap pin hole on the base of the body?
-
That is just flat out awesome

Moderators.....delete this if you want, but someone has to post using a cautionary tone....maybe someone will wake up and save themselves from serious injury.
Nothing wrong with throwing safety up as an issue I'd much rather see that then loose somebody to a questionable idea.........

Yesturday.............

Fall guy for what? The only reason I go invisible is my PM limit goes beyond belief from people asking questions they should be posting because I am far from being an expert on every topic.
If you want to blame somebody go ahead if you feel better and blame me. After all You came into the forum with a user name originally that implied you were a professional, then backed out of that. Tried to post advice several times and got chewed up by other forum members for your advice, then trolled in the rant section for months. When given the opportunity to make a real difference in the forum once again and gain respect you choose to quit.......and call people back stabbers, really, you didn't even discuss it with me instead you made that public so sure Litch Blame me for your troubles after all you would rather make a public scene all over the forum then settle yourself down and handle situations like an adult.
Love the new sig shows just how mature you really are........

When I start recieving e-mails with the main topic as the title of this thread that tells me they are taking notice and want information (course they stated that in the e-mail anyway) But seriously folks if you have a special guitar you want posted in the gallery because real magazines are looking in there at all of the talent you had better get them photographed and to me.
Please do not submit a full gallery of hugh images at once but rather 2 to 3 choice ones which really show off your creation. Size does matter and if you can crop them down for me I would appreciate it. Yes I'm still on dial up and have no plans to switch to cable
All In All Though if your interested in having a guitar you have built shown in the main site gallery then get in contact with me. You never know who may e-mail you down the road.........

My badge says MOD, but I'll be damned if I'm gonna look like an ass for things that dont do any good. Basically I quit.
Bye bye then

Problem is the site is dedicated to "concentrate on learning more of the trade and building guitars" while a select few would rather complain about things that honestly don't effect what the site is about.
Realistically if you recieved as many complaints directly as I do about who said what and this person is trolling or complaining here, you would feel it is time for a revision as well. The greatest concern has been keeping it family safe and oriented in general so for those that can't live with the changes and learn and share about guitars I'd say See Ya, don't want you around anyway.
For the few that actually would like a clean safe enviroment where their 13 year old daughter doesn't ask "Daddy whats that about or why does this person use this word?" and yes it does happen, the site will always be here.
Larger interests are also starting to look through the main site as well looking for real talent to expose via publications as well as older talent. They were not interested in a site that had trash threads and with population unless you control it thats what you get.

You can do that or use a soldering iron and remove them carefully if your planing on using the original electronics again.
If you cut the wires in the middle be sure to mark each end, in my earlier days I used to just splice them back together and while it will work I wouldn't recommend it because problems can arrise.

Some Before and After shots for the curious < I picked a bad week to quit smokin

This will give you a better idea
So far I've been lucky and still have power and phone but I don't expect it to last.........
-
It's always a good idea to practice but yes the HOK is awesome stuff and I have seen some really wild paint jobs on bodys done with it.

Looks pretty easy to me and electronics are my weak field, then again to somebody that doesn't understand them at all anything especially a schematic is confusing
-
Wow, so do you actually know Larry, or are you just well researched in this area?
I've spoken to him on a few topics and have his office number but I'm just a business associate and no he isn't in New York where the Company is.

Double cream Duncans do exsist and thats confirmed. They are just very rare because they were sue'd for producing them.
Just like some older Ibanezs were exact copys of Gibson and Fenders.....

Green is donated in 2004, orange is VIP and some others will change. Each group will recieve different perks eventually such as Green will have their own personal forum gallery (limited spce but still easy to use) to upload and post pictures without having to do anything but log in under your forum name. For the VIP members the flood control has been changed because most of them help out a whole lot in here donating time to teach and help others, etc.............
It will be a slow process but all of the changes will be made to explain to everyone as we go through the clean up process, the main site needs to be re-written as well for the donations and forum rules..........
-
I'd love to see the progress as it comes along, could inspire me to make my own one day and I think it is an awesome idea if you have the time to do it
-
BTW the others are right it is a trademark not a patent.......still it can not be manufactured legally without permission
