Hmm.. not that I needed it, but what do you think of doing the ultimate final TRS to edge tutorial??
Yes one day if I can find somebody that needs it, I should go ahead and do that one since it comes up over on the Jemsite forum often
-
I've been thinking about what is available so far and the many options I have for the future at Project Guitar.
So far I have come up with the following I am currently working on #1,#2 and #3 and plan to do the rest for the site sometime in the future:
1. Painted head stocks - A guide to refinishing those head stocks commonly found on Jacksons and Ibanez plus a few Fenders. This tutorial will include the use of vinal decals with the application and clearing over them so they blend in.
2. Cavity Covers- A step by step guide to making your own replacements for around $5.
3. Faux inlays - A guide to putting temporary inlays on your neck so it doesnt destroy the original integrity.
4. Sparkle Finish- A guide for the home do-it-yourself kind of person which shows how to get a glittery unique paint finish without all the hassle of buying a high priced can of custom automotive paint from the dealer.
5. Two and Three tone Chrome Illustion - How to get it without spending $300 a quart and the results you should expect.
6. T_style Kits- A step by step guide and review showing assembly of the popular Tele Style kits available for sale.
7. S_style Kits- A step by step guide and review showing assembly of the popular Strat Style kits available for sale.
8. Trem to Hardtail- A step by step guide on how to convert a trem style body into a hard tail body.
I am open to anything you would like me to ad to my to-do-list of tutorials for do down the road? Just post a suggestion here and we'll chat about it

Like I said bro:
I never said it was good for youOne thing I do know is that tea does have many merits far beyond mentioned above. I was just playing with you, then again I think you knew that from the IM
-
That's what I was thinking. Not just a standard style job but maybe a fancy burst with an exotic design all over, I might have to give it a try some time just to see how it works out.

I never said it was good for you
Tea can be just as bad: http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/health/1258203.stm

Which of the skins are you using to view the forum?
For those of you that don't know about this option you can log into Your Control Panel next to your name up top and under options hit "Skin and Languages" and change the look of the forum for yourself.

Sounds killer One question though about the walnut body and this is purely for looks. Are you looking at the plain walnut or the figured walnut for the body?
With so many options it's almost to hard to choose these days
While I have heard nothing but good things about Carvin the only negatives I have heard are in the resale value. Of course this mainly pertains to the United States and may not apply where your located.

Are you on the look out for Hot Girl stickers for your old beater to give it that retro look? Do you want something different to stick on your case? Then you should check out Slap On Art!

If anyone has a link they would like to share pertaining to fixing up guitars please post it in this thread!
If it's not already in the web site I will add it as well.....Thanks!

Added a new guitar to the forum today with an amazing story. It is one of Henry Kaiser's whacky guitars named Geisha Girl! If you get a chance go check it out. The artist did an amazing inlay on the fingerboard from conception to finished product over night!
