  1. Seriously, Brian, if you cant answer/respond/deal with the website, why not give control to someone who can? Wheres the rest of the admin team? Moderators?? Whos running this joint?!?!?!?!

Whats even more amazing is you're still around with all of the PM's we get about you complaining and cutting down peoples work or choices....

I haven't taken any action out of respect for your knowledge and help but your ATTITUDE keeps tripping you up.

Just FYI you have lost respect from more people on the board than you realize....

Then again I doubt you really care.......

Face the facts: everyone is entitled to an opinion but negative ones should be kept to themselves, actually that is in the rules....

As far as giving up control of the site, well make an offer instead of blowing off BS.

Just so you know I already have had a offer from an investment firm in the UK as well as a magazine publisher in the US, they seem to think the site is doing just fine........

  2. Hi Folks,

Just bringing those who have been thinking about buying a kit and haven't been able to find one either in stores or on the web up to speed on the latest news.

Saga lost their primary manufacturer of the kit's towards the end of last year and had to find another one. They currently have 2000 kit's on order and the initial shipment from the new facility has hit the dock for distribution over in San Fran but unless your one of the lucky one's that ordered a long time ago your still going to have to wait a bit longer.

The first shipment only contained some 21 of the LC-10 kit's plus others of course while Saga has back orders from vendors such as myself in the neighborhood of 348 of the LC-10's alone.

More are expected but it does take time for them to be containered and shipped across the Pacific.

I figured I would post this here because it is a common question I am recieveing in e-mails over at Universal Jems.

    Peace, Brian

  3. There is 3.7579908675799086757990867579909 new members each day since this place started three years ago.  Happy Birthday PG :D !  I wonder if Brian is proud that his baby made it to 3 years old?

I'm just Happy we made it through the terrible two's :D

Seriously though it's growing ever so quickly and many new changes to the main site in updates will be occuring once again..........

Thank You Everyone for making this happen! B)

  4. Well for the scratches and indentations I used to use testors model paint since it dried dark and black as can be and if you let it dry for several days it will also blend and polish up good using the finest wet/dry paper you can find of course and a hard flat rubber block to keep everything smooth and level.

Thats my old quick, cheap and easy fix way. Now days I tend to sand them down smooth and just paint over the entire body again. The hardest part your running up against is the pigment of the paint and since it is black of course your finding out there are actually different shades of that (thank goodness it isn't like white with a million shades).

Best bet is to experiment if you can before painting but yes sounds like sanding off the old down to smooth then painting a nice even coat over the entire back is going to be your best solution.

  5. metalmickey I have to ask myself if the member was so concerned about security issues then why didn't he go direct to me the guy running the site or Kev the other Administrator instead of a moderator who is slammed already cleaning up after rookies?

When you say he didn't hack then your saying the thread from the Project Guitar user member name that neither I nor Kev made that I deleted was done through somebody else? I will answer that for you it was his IP address when I looked it up :D

Seriously, I know he has/had good intent some what via the one follow up e-mail I received after the fact but doing what was done plus further breaking the rules and guidelines via making multiple user ID's and going on from what was reported to me as a mini rampage (creating havoc for the general moderators) is not the kind of behavior that I care to welcome in a forum set up for teaching and learning about working on guitars.

Your very post mentioning his name and business could further ad more misfortune to somebody who is actually in "the business" of making a living off of guitar enthusiasts's where I practice constraint in posting about the situation hoping others who seem more over the edge would calm their attitude problems down before posting or PM'ing the moderators. That is why I have deleted the mention of his name from it, if anyone truly wants to find it and follow up they will through searching the forum.

Personally I have nothing against him, it is how he went about handling the situation which he could have been avoided in the first place by not stepping out of bounds and over the line, I doubt he would appreciate people doing the same thing in his forum and one day when it reaches the amount of members that the PG forum currently has I'm sure he will understand further about why forums grow and so do rules to help keep them running smoothly for the comfort of others.

BTW nice comment Drak B) Ohmmmmmmm........ :D

  6. I dont mean to hijack this thread any more but, can anyone else see this or just me?

Over this whole board, people are constantly Pirating guitars, and parts, be they fake Fender relics, replicas, and parts, yet nothing is done to censor this??

    Piracy exists,deal with it!

We'll you seem to be the only one that is kicking this thread off topic at the moment.

Yes Piracy does exsist and that is The Selling of Manufactured Illegal Copys which this board is not plastered with, Thanks for sharing your knowledge but this is about building and learning.

If you have something to sell you can do so in the classifieds section as long as your product is concidered legal within the US.

Back to the original topic now please people!
