  1. im pretty sure that would work for the headstock shreddy, that was a good idea, i never really though about the concern for the truss rod rout, etc.
  2. http://www.stewmac.com/shop/Glues,_adhesives/Epoxies.html <-- there are some pics and you can get it there, you will also need some saw dust of whatever wood you used to build the body, mix the epoxy with the sawdust and then fill the cavity with it, then sand it down flat
  3. hey lowe9, did you ever find any cheap humbuckers?
  4. haha, i was a slow learner, well, i guess its not was, because i still am! lol
  5. its a Series10 bass neck, i dont know anything about the series10, other than its a 4 string 23-fret bass neck with a rose wood fretboard and the inside of the 23rd fret measures 25" from the nut and the head stock says series10 on it. A few SMALL scratches in the fingerboard, one major crack and paint chip is on the right side of the head stock, nut included, tuners NOT included. pics, go here: www.angelfire.com/art2/guitars9023/bassneck.html
  6. I'm thinking no, because your headstock is a 3x3, and a strat style isn't even close to a 3x3. What i would do, is cut the strat style headstock off of the neck, and glue on a new peice of wood and cut it out into the shape of batman.
  7. i think it would hurt to play, but it LOOKS cool, also, where would you put the wiring and stuff, is there enough room without weakening the wood?
  8. i like ski's idea, BTW shreddy, LOVE the new avatar! lol
  9. i looked it up (about halfway down)and i found a hopf saturn 63 selling for $1,795, just a little more than $250! also, is it just me, or does the back of the guitar in the link u put up have a picture of a topless woman on it?
  10. it was an unpopular brand back in the 80's called "series10" i think the pickups were stock pickups off of it, wow, i have too many bug bites on my feet EDIT: Sorry bout the double post

  13. dude rock and roll is way more important than money, sex and drugs, rock and roll is a way of life be it good or bad, money, sex, and drugs are just accessories!!
  14. i think what would look best would be red with a black stripe or black with a red stripe, or maybe (if your into punk and stuff) black with a pink stripe
  15. wait when you said blue base coat, yellow in the middle to make a blue and green burst, i just realized, if i tried it the other way i was thinking about, would it turn out to be a turqouise and green burst because the blue burst on top of the green base?
