  2. or, to a greater extent, take a page from Cledus Judd and "throw this damn guitar in the laaaaaake."
  3. whaaa!! Never seen that before. Thanks
  4. as you mey know, I make basic guitars. Now I'm going to try some new things and one of them include inlaying the neck. Anyone got any good websites that show you how. The more the better. Thanks
  5. oh ya, thats what I wanted to know is where you got the covers, not the acutal pup. sorry
  6. say, just a question, where'd you get those laceys?
  7. what type of knobs are going on that beast?
  8. You have metal/chrome knobs right? Well, seeing that I'm not a wiring expert, I'd say check your grounding.
  9. The tire as a compressor is a good idea, but whats going to happen when you run out of pressure and then the aspect of many ppl don't have a spare all the time.
  10. oh, my bad. Pockets would be cool, just but a back pocket right on the front and reach in and pull a pick out That wold help me a lot (My ratio: 3 droped picks/1 song)
  11. I was considering a material finish for my tele project, but was conserned about the dry-cleaning bill for when it got dirty I don't know if a person could put a clear finish on it and make it work out? Mabey on denim? I don't think using it for neck inlays would work, but if it would that would be very cool Anyways i'm interested in this too.
  12. Ohh, sorry I don't have any pictures, but they never over promised on their wood to me
  13. I've been making guitars for a while, but never used a bigsby trem. Now I'm finally going to make a modified tele for me! Anyways, what do you think of them?(bigsbys) I'm not dive-bombing I just want a trem for once in a while and nothing heavy. I didn't want to do something with springs this time. Will they cause me to go out of tune a lot? What do you think of them? Thanks
  14. Well it's coming along, slowly I wanted some of your guy's opnions too. So far it's going (for sure) to have: Bigsby bridge (trem) Sperlez locking tuners 2 humbucking (I might change my mind alittle) w push/pull pots (don't want too much knobs, switches, ect..) and a lot of other stuff(of course), but I want your input for the type of body. I've never done a neck-through, and I want this guitar to be different, but I don't want to take a risk because I will use this guitar to perform. What do you think? Neck through or bolt on? Thanks
  15. I bought a used Series 2 Epiphone with a Vintage sunburst for $20. hehe Anyways, I wanted to make this a "signature guitar", my signature guitar. I really wanted opinions on what mods (especialy paint) you did on all your guitars? Thanks
  16. Ahh, I seea. You froma Itallia. I don'ta thinka it'll make much differencea. Sorry, I'll quit. I don't think it'll make much difference in the sound, but with glueing, I think neck-through-body would give you more sustain though
  17. I think that a regular solid body bigsby will work on a tele. Are you "retrofitting" it on a tele or building the tele?
  18. Recently I started getting more orders for neck-through guitars, and as you may know, my personal tele project is going to use one too.
  19. He went down to $15 and I'm buying it. Sorry. Otherwise it's in good shape. I might do some things with it and turn this into my guitar.
  20. I'm looking at a guitar from a friend, who knows nothing about guitars, so excuse the crude discription. On the headstock on the very top is says "Epiphone", in the middle it says "special model", and on the truss rod cover it says "gibson". The body has two knobs and a 3-way selector switch. There are two pickups which are black with silver dots-I'm guessing poles. The color is a sunburst. The body is a les paul style. Any guess on what this is? Any help is greatly appericated. Thanks
  21. I've been looking around and if I do it, I'mnot going to do it. I know this guys close to me who can paint anything better than anything. He likes painting guitars and I'll just have him do it. Right now I got about 5 orders and school so It'll have to go on the back burner for a while anyways. At least I'll have the money after all of this to have it painted this way
  22. I know of the B.F. tuning system, but how do you have your guitar modified for this? Can a person make a guitar with this? Thanks
