    From what I hear, Mathews are the suppliers to Maton Guitars. Yeah, Blackbutt is a form of Eucalyptus I think. So the conensus is Maple, is it? Rock Maple would be what's listed there as "American" I take it?

    Hi, first time builder here looking to cut costs and still come out with a playable instrument. http://www.mathewstimber.com.au/product.htm Which of those woods are suitable for a guitar neck? More importantly, which are the CHEAPEST that are suitable
