Well is there any reason why I should stay away from useing the MIGHTY MITE MMSA6-BKF? I found one on the bay for 30 bucks, for 30 bucks I think its an ok risk I would like to know everyones thoughts on the whole pick up thing, that is the one thing Im stuck up on I have a bridge I have A neck the body will be nothing all thats left is the pickup !!METAL MATT!!

HAHAHA I think I know what your talking about now I made that thread more of a bash at my design than any thing else, I found that old pic and some one told me a while ago that it looked like the vixen Designing is really hit and miss but I love it Oh on a side note im thinking about trying to use a MIGHTY MITE MMSA6-BKF 6 STRING ACTIVE PICKUP for this guitar !!METAL MATT!!

HAHAHA No kiding I just start drawing and I come up with something that might look right than I find out that its a taken design This has been a real hard one, but ive never been good with headstocks !!METAL MATT!!

ok now I was woundering if I could use any 6string bass pickup other than the EMG-45DC for my 8-string guitar build, I found a MIGHTY MITE MMSA6-BKF 6 STRING ACTIVE PICKUP for 30 bucks and Im wounder if it would work and sound roughly the same as or better than the EMG any ideas or tips? !!METAL MATT!!

Ok so than if it is the body than what does that bring my options too? can anything be done with the wireing I would like to try but im not sure where to start, I would like to change the .o47 cap or is that pointless !!METAL MATT!!

.o47 cap standard for Humbuckers Ok thats cool now can I chang the cap and put something in that will soffen the twang? and truning the tone down makes the thing sound Flat and twangy !!METAL MATT!!

Ok I made this for a guitar but the Body did not make it so I went ahead and tossed a clear on this just to see what it looked like any way Im in need of some cash so if you want this make me an offer will take trades, It needs finish sanding and buffing maybe even a few more coats of clear its up to you, comes with the Pots if you want them !!METAL MATT!!

Well that brings up a good point!! the neck is still in the US and it will be shiped from the USA most likey Make me and offer, and the shipping cant be that bad !!METAL MATT!! -
Ok i was down hanging out with the Owner of the guitar and he let me fart around on it I took out the plastic under the bridge and I made up a bone Nut for it and I changed the strings, now it helpd a bit but still way to much twang, I found out the the pickup came out of an Ibanez and that it has 500K pots the pickup is pushing 17 k and Im not sure what the CAP is it has .047 on it and under that it has 100 what should my next step be? !!METAL MATT!!
