    Take a look at the same thing from the front Matt.

    Also notice that on this particular guitar the neck is nearly completely free from the body.

    This neck would have suffered serious SG neck symptoms if wes hadnt left a bit of extra support - it still might but it seems like the right approach to me.

    Thats Cool!! Its not like im not loveing his axe Im just pointing out what I would have done, but just because its my way that dont make it the right way :D

    it is supposed to do that...it gives more support to the neck.

    How does it do that? I wouuld think that by simply makeing the Heal on the Body with more bulk that maybe that would have added the extra strength you wanted

    Ok got some more work done!!! Ive sanded the Body to shape I started the Belly contour and I started the Beveling

    I love the New shop Im in its got SOOOOOOOO much more than my other shop

    But I would definitely route out an additional 2 channels for carbon / steel rods.
    I'm not sure what to think fo all that. I don't see how cutting an additional trussrod slot in the neck, would help stability. It would only weaken the neck, I think?

    Jeremy uses the carbon rods on all his 8 string Guitars, But he does build THIN maple necks even than he he told me that they really where not needed at all but he used them just to be safe

    I say try the rods and Play it safe, theres really nothing to them in size so the routs in the neck wount really hurt any thing where as routs for the trus rod might

    HAHAHA Thats easy man BIG ASS BEVELS AND BLACK PAINT :D

    Really man I like that design as it is I would only add Large bevels, the thing looks mean already but bevels will increase its evil powers 10 fold :D

    you know what would Look great on this axe man!! a white body with Black bevels and Black Hardware

    that is GARY HOLT,man......gary holt...one of the godfathers of thrash.....one of the absolute best,tightest,all time ass kickinest guitarists to ever grace the stage...
