  1. And Its done!! I dont have a PC right now mine died but I'll try to get some pics for ya

I need to wire it up and touch up the frets but other than that DONE

I went with a nice flat tung oil finish it came out just great and looks very clean, I really love the flat fretboard its just a dream to play. Its kinda odd geting use to that wide of a neck

    Pics soon

  2. No I get the idea behind how they work, more than any thing I want to know how they play, have they been well tested when I think Bc Rich I think BRONSE :D and I run away as fast as I can but this new line looks tighter than most

Plus its not just Bc rich thats useing this new bolt on idea

  3. well Ive seen these around for a bit and I cant seem to find much info on them other than they bolt up from under the pickup and they have no neck heel. Other than that I dont know much and I would like to know more

  4. HAHA HEY Im not dead!! just moved in to a new place by the lake and just got online again a while ago. ok so so close but so far :D im working two jobs now and finding time for guitars is rough but Im still doing what I can when I can. Ive done alot to the body and ive started the AANJ ive done a TON of sanding, all thats left is drilling a hold fo the Jack and than a string nut and mounting the neck than OIL FINISH

one booo booo I made on this build that I just came to see was that Ive mounted my jig just off the center line so every thing is just a bit off to one side to the black walnut center if there was no walnut it would be fine :D oh well my erorr my guitar

  5. Do we have an official weight estimate of the finished project yet? That PH will be weighty for sure. Looking good otherwise! I have a huge almost-2m long neck-through piece of PH lumber I can't find a reasonable use for. It's just lethal on tools!

Well its not as heavy as I thought it would be but the weight is really helping with any neck diveing issus this guitar will sit perfect Im very very happy with this guitar now BUT this will (MAYBE) be my last purpleheart guitar unless I fine another killer figerd piece like my tube curl quilted slab I found at windsor but Ive NEVER seen any thing like that again

  6. Ok so Ive not had alot of time to work on the purpleheart guitar but Im starting to fall in love again :D where the wood lacks the design is really makeing up for it, so I have the jig ready for the electronics cavity and Ive started my jig for the headstock so that I can drill out the tuner holes dead on so once thats done the guitar is just about done other than alot of sanding

I'll be freting soon aswel and I'll be doing a flat radius
