Setch, ur the reason i am motavated to build a les paul. i saw ur post like a week ago and from that bad ass job u did i wanted one. keep the good work. BTY about ho much did ur LP cost with hardwear and everything?

dose any one out here know the thickness of an gibson LP body? another thigs is there anyone out there who can send me pics of set neck joint? If possible pelase send em in a few differnt angles, but mainly i just need one of a side view that shows the set neck joint.

Dose anyone know how to print a full size template useing a CAD progaram? I have turboCAD 2d and when i try to print it it will fit it down to 1 page or the printer will shoot out 100 blank pages. if u can help me out or walk me through it plaease help.

did u print out the template? if so how, when i tryed to print it out it came out as a normal 1 page thing.

dose any one out here have a explorer template? if so how much would u want for it? ive tryed to make an explorer but it didnt come out like a gibson type since i drew it out freehand on the wood

ok it is off. the strat neck is set up for a 25.5 scale and my expolorer is at 24 inche scale. so what i need to do now is to pull out the bridge and the tail peice and studs, then use wooded dowels and filler and then remount the tail stop and the bridge. i might as well remount the pick up location since it seems to be too far up near the neck. if anyone out there has a better way of filling the holes please post a reply.

i recently scored a home made explorer guitar body. problems are that it looks off (im ok with that) and it dosent sound right. it can hold in tune and the open notes are good but when i fret notes it sounds off. i have a jackson KV4 and a strat and they dont do this. i have tryed to ajust the intonation but no matter how faw away or twords the neck i move it always says higher than is sould be (1/2 step above). Im thinking it could be that the tail peice and the bridge are too close too the neck but im no expert. if u can help i would really apriceiated it. if u wanna see a pic of it e-mail me at cyberpimp3000@hotmail.com
