I have a Very Rare 1980 Gibson Les Paul Custom Limited Edition Goldtop, 42nd one made, it has the Limited Edition Numbers (Reg No 42) on a pearl plate on the back of the headstock, Serial#80560084, if you have seen a les paul like this let me know, i havent or has anyone else i have talk too, email me for photos at tcouch662000@yahoo.com, i bought it new in 1980, will discuss price, phone 606 374 7616, a Definate Collector guitar
