    I loev JS's, and your job just makes me want one even more. One question though. Did you use any templates or anything, I'm wondering how you made the body. I'm thinking of building a chromeboy because i know a place that actually has GOOD sprayable chrome. Im not a huge fan of the chrome boy but i think it would be fun. great job and cant wait to see this come together

    alright i see what you're saying drak, that whole lambo put it in perspective. you're just saying i bought it too soon without even knowing what i wanna do with it. I guess you're kinda right, it WAS indeed sorta an impulse buy. I had just bought wood off of ebay and 2 templates and 10 minutes later he asked if i wanted to buy it so i just did it. hopefully i get a feeling of what to do. sorry again drak

    Im sorry..im not really trying to bitch, its just first of all i cant change whats done to the body and i was just asking for open suggestions. and also it was mostly a gift from big d so if incase i do mess up, i would feel guilty due to it mostly not being my work. I thought this was a forum open for discussion....thats basically what i was trying to do. I havnt done much router work in my life and I wanted to plan before i did anything i would regret. Sorry for lecturing and stuff, i just thought it was a little out of line. Im just trying to plan because of what I have to work with on this body.

    Ive waiting to build my guitars and stuff and once im ready i wanna get some electronics and stuff but Ive beeen interested in TESLA pickups. Has anyone used them, because the soudn clips HEREEEEEEE sounds like you get what you pay for. please respond

    good idea about leaving the natural grain...thats the way i like strats ...but good luck on the neck, i hope it works and and you dont cause yourself to pain over that grain

    hey metalmatt, hows the progress on the 7 string (the picture that shows up at the beginning). Thats my favorite, but i was wondering 1. how big is it cause it looks a lil small 2. how much would you sell that for hehe Respond soon

    Hmmm i dunno what i can do, because i cant really put a pickguard on that because they dont make pickguard for anything like that and i dont wanna route it out more and get a pickguard blank and bevel bit. I dunno about putting on a tele bridge cause its supposed to look like a strat not a hondo deluxe series 66 (yeah you're probably lost on this one, my friend gave me one and its like a combination of mini strat/tele and crack put all together. Ill post pics soon. Well hopefully i can get this problem solved

    I was gonna do that too but, i always wanted a strat in that color. Im not a fan of strats unless they have the natural look on them, and it seems like this would be the perfect oppotunity to turn it into a strat. thanks for the suggestion though, i like your ideas.

    So, assuming that im getting this body, i wouldnt recieve it if i didnt buy it, i dont see much wrong with the pickup routing cause its a strat thats gonna have a pickguard over it, and if it is a little small, than ill just fix that up. But I dont know why you're talking about ethics due to the fact I wouldve bought it. Luckily bigd has offered better than that

    Hey I havnt done ANYTHING do due lack of tools (router bits and a good bandsaw) I suggest to never get that 90 dollar table top delta bandsaw. Its weak and hasnt last me 4 days. AND I GOT 2 OF EM. Both of them started acting up in the first 4 days (4 days was the good one). Well I ordered some stuff from ebay and from guitar building templates. You can see the wood from ebay on THIS WEBSITE well have fun with that and feel free to comment and if you think this delta thing was a bad value. Oh yeah and a little off topic, is this natural that im a "regular member" after 9 days, or is it because i post a little much lately?

    Hey hyunsu, my brothers are in seoul korea right now, I was surfing your website and looking at the pictures and I saw there was a link that said "on sale", i dunno if it was supposed to say "search" but I know how humble you are about your skills but i would LOVE to buy one of your guitars and have it sent to my little brother.     AHHH metalmatt great was as usual. You're style of guitars makes me drool. I especially love the first one. The body lines are slick and rugged and dark all at the same time. Great work as usual. I love it, the 7 string was is also is amazing. I cant wait to see these things done. amazing job

    Looking great!, i wish i had anything to critique but i got nothing to add, i know its a progess and i cant wait to see it finished. Are you planning to paint it or are you just gonna leave it natural? oh and did you do that neck yourself? the neck looks really good. good luck

    Hey I'm new at guitar building and I stumbled upon hibbonhardwoods.com and they sell body blanks of honduras mahogany and premavera. I know honduras mahogany upholds a good repuatation but i was wondering about premavera, is it any good? Well thanks a lot

    ahh hyunsu people work months and years on one guitar and you work a week it seems you have the same ammount of quality and care in your work. I love your work. sometimes it looks so perfect im convinced you have a CNC machine. Keep it up

    Hye guys, Im about to buy some quilted maple good enough for me and I was wondering about paint jobs. I know about that how dyeing black and than dyeing the color to bring out the grain. Sounds fun and good, BUT I need a little more explanation about this "sanding back". I was wondering if it meant like sanding in between coats like you would with a regular paint job. Even if you dont wanna type if out, even a link could help Thanks
