  1. I dont really see what you're saying. Im just taking Brians advice in the Inlay tips and tricks tutorial. I do have some PRS birds and I have the template for them and they fit perfectly so even if that helps for only that project, fine with me. Just wondering if anyones had experience doing this?
  2. Hey guys, I've bought a bunch of inlay and I want a quick and effective way to install it into my fingerboards, I was wondering if anyone has tried the Turbo Carver bits and put them into a "flex shaft" dremel attachment or if it even fits. Thanks guys

  11. haha dont worry about it at all, i didnt think it was gonna be loaded. hopefully i can get some pics but it seems like in your description thats it really nice. My zip is 20817. Thanks again, hopefully i can get some pics
  12. sweet, ill probably buy it than. Hopefully you can post up pics soon Edit: I just discussed it with my friend whos also into building and he said go for it so im definitely going to buy it
  13. Well how much are you selling it for or how many of those do you want?
  14. I think having a PG chatroom is probably the smartest thing ive heard this year. Just when people get used to going on the chat room, people would be on it all day. I would..it would be a much better way than trying to get your questions answered than waiting like 10 minutes between each response than eventually a couple of days. Im all for it
  15. all of those for the body? how much in price? pictures?
  16. haha yeah that bookmatch "matcher"? seems like it works well. I do use a forster bit but at the moment my drill press is down and I dont like using the router if i dont have to. Just waiting for my dad to find the reciepts so i can keep going
  17. well as i predicted...my dad lost the reciept I did my job holding on to my warranty info on EVERYTHING i bought and he looses the thigns that matters. Figures...
  18. holy lord that fingerboard is great. good job, im real proud.
  19. well there may be a local woodshop near you where you pay per hour to use their shop and they'll definitely have a good bandsaw. I dunno if there are any near you though
  20. haha i thought i wrote something about that stuff on my first comment. Dont know why people think that...they sold albums...are they to refuse the money that they earned? If i started selling stuff but didnt want the money, but just to get the stuff off my hands, i would consider myself retarded
  21. haha the best things in life are definitely for free. thanks for the plan, im gonna make it immediately. Hey maiden, good idea i think thatll look sweet, maybe to match it i should do a matching binding.
  22. uh oh..its been glued since yesterday. If it is necisarry for it to be removed, than i could try to see if the inlay tracing scibe could take it out. ill see
  23. Holy crap maiden that thigns a beaut. That finish was the color i was thinking somebody did and you did it. Thats just a great looking guitar
  24. hey guys thanks for the comments, maybe if i feel awake enough to drive out to lowes i can get another drill press from lowes. I love GMC's cheapo stuff because it is actually REALLY heavy duty. The drill press i got from them is a tank and their service is great...and australian . Maiden i know exactly what you're talking about, but i tested the guitar out and it seemed fine. I was lucky enough i routed it out perfectly and the neck heel had to be pushed a bit to fit, than it wouldnt move outta place. Thanks guys, hopefully my dad didnt throw away the reciept Oh yeah and that line..i know it was a bad idea but i bought this set from someone on this site and sadly it wasnt jointed. I had a hand planner and sanded to where the high spots were and thats the best i could do without making it too thin So I....put wood filler in the middle. I dunno what to do with it because its in the way.
